Step 2 - Pay Our Low Fee

Provisional Patent Applications - You pay only $477.00.

A $110.00 government filing fee is payable by you directly to the U.S. Patent Office at time of filing.

Utility Patent Applications - You pay only $3,977.00.

A $515.00 government filing fee (could be slightly higher depending on your invention) is payable by you directly to the U.S. Patent Office at time of filing. Note that other fees apply later to prosecute your utility patent application through the U.S. Patent Office to obtain a patent. Obtaining a patent is NOT guaranteed).

Following completion of the forms online in step 1, you will be directed to a secure checkout for making payment. You can pay using any major credit card.

Step 3. We Create Your Patent Application:

We carefully review your answers on the form and your sketches or photos for errors, completeness, and common mistakes, then prepare your Provisional or Utility Patent Application in accordance with U.S. patent laws.

You review the prepared Provisional or Utility Patent Application prior to filing. We make your desired changes and file your application with the U.S. Patent Office.

You get "patent pending" the day your application is filed (for 1 full year on Provisional Patent Applications - you must have a "Utility Patent Application" prepared and filed within the 1 year patent pending period to keep the filing date of your Provisional Patent Application.


Step 4. Post-Filing:

Once your application has received, the U.S. Patent Office will issue an official Filing Receipt to you along with a copy of your Patent Application as filed, typically within 6 to 8 weeks.
